AMD announced today that representing the broadest portfolio of enterprise PC offerings in AMD history, three of the most popular computer makers Dell, HP, and Lenovo have featured the latest AMD Ryzen™ PRO mobile and desktop processors in their latest devices.

AMD reports in their press release that “AMD Ryzen PRO APUs for premium commercial desktop and notebooks provide commercial PC buyers with new levels of choice and innovation and enable Dell, HP, and Lenovo to create a range of business systems, from sleek enterprise notebooks to powerful commercial desktops. “

“All Ryzen PRO processors provide security, reliability and performance with the award-winning AMD “Zen” architecture. Armed with AMD GuardMI technology, Ryzen PRO processors with Radeon Vega Graphics offer state-of-the-art security at the silicon level from power-on to power-off,” according to the news report released by AMD.

With a huge demand for processors that can handle business workloads as well as heavy multimedia requirements, the AMD Ryzen™ PRO will be a popular and reliable choice. The AMD Ryzen™ 7 PRO 2700U with a battery life which they say is 16 hours, will be competing against rivals in system performance. The AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 2400G and AMD Ryzen 3 PRO 2200G processors are aimed at ultra-heavy workloads such as 3D imaging, 3D designing, and other powerful tasks.

Dell Latitude 5495 laptop, Lenovo ThinkPad A series, ThinkCentre M715q & M725s desktops will be some of the computers that will be powered by the latest AMD Ryzen™ PRO mobile and desktop processors.

Roanne Sones of Microsoft mentioned that “The new multi-core design of Ryzen PRO processors delivers amazing performance on Windows 10 PCs, while the ‘Vega’ graphics architecture enables a smoother and richer visual experience, ideally suited for today’s modern commercial environments.”

The equipment manufacturers have high hopes about the partnership. “HP is redefining the commercial PC experience as the traditional boundaries between work and life blend. Our latest offerings with AMD Ryzen PRO processors integrate powerful processing and graphics into innovative solutions built with a focus on design, security, and collaboration to power the modern workforce.” Lorena Kubera, Global Head of Commercial Product Management, HP Inc. said.

The manufacturers are aiming to build ultra thin, powerful laptops using the Ryzen processor. And AMD, a manufacturer of processors that are ideal even for bitcoin mining, is leading the way.
